Having grown up in the beautiful Outer Hebrides, I love the outdoors and have a passion for my home.

 

I achieved a 2:1 in Media and Communications at Glasgow Caledonian University then worked with Young Films in Skye and went on to work as an offline Editor for MacTV in Stornoway for 4 years.

Some of my pastimes include filming & underwater videography for commercial use by companies such as Seatrek and Essence of Harris, mostly promoting the beauty of The Hebrides. Since 2014, I have been a contributor for BBC The Social, producing short videos about life in The Hebrides and any unusual happenings.

In 2020, I had the amazing opportunity to present & edit a series based on my life, our islands and my connection to the ocean. This was a huge hit throughout the UK and led to a second series as well as a christmas special. The media coverage was extensive and I have enjoyed filming with several large names since such as Bakkafrost, Al Jazeera and BBC Breakfast.
